Our Journey
From an idea to a movement empowering Zimbabwean youth
The Idea is Born
Conversations with youth across Zimbabwe revealed a critical need for a centralized, trustworthy platform where young people could access health information and opportunities.
Community Engagement
We conducted focus groups in Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, and Masvingo, speaking directly with youth to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations.
Platform Development
Working with youth developers and health experts, we built the first version of Kuvaka, focusing on offline-first capabilities and data-light design for Zimbabwean users.
Official Launch
Kuvaka was officially launched with support from the Ministry of Youth and various youth organizations, reaching over 10,000 users in the first three months.
Expanding Impact
We're expanding to reach more youth across all provinces, adding new features like peer support groups, mentorship matching, and integration with government programs.
